Winter Treats

Now that the winter months are here, and most of our time is spent indoors, this is the perfect time to incorporate fun DIY treats for your pet! Here are some of our favorites at the BARF World® office. 

One of our favorites is a lick mat. This will keep your pet occupied for an extended period of time. Simply add the ingredients to the mat, and include some water to ensure that it sticks. To make it last longer, freeze before serving. Here are some ingredients that can be added to the lick mat for a tasty treat.

Another great option is to make your own frozen popsicles! Here is one of our own fan favorite DIY recipes. 

  • Blend raw freeze-dried dog food of your choice 
  • Add chicken broth or coconut milk 
  • For extra flavors: blueberries, chia seeds, flax seeds or E-Barf Plus 
  • Once everything is mixed together, simply add to the mold of your choice, freeze and serve for a quick and easy treat!
