Shipping Carrier & Delivery Method
BARF World® reserves the right to select the shipping carrier and delivery method deemed most appropriate to maximize delivery success and maintain product integrity. Transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Estimated Delivery Windows
One-day, two-day, three-day, and four-day shipping references are estimated transit times based on location and carrier service levels. These estimates do not guarantee delivery dates, product availability, or shipment timing.
Carrier Delays & Delivery Interruptions
BARF World® is not responsible for shipping delays, missed deliveries, damaged packages, or delivery interruptions caused by third-party carriers, weather, natural disasters, mechanical failures, labor disruptions, incorrect customer information, or circumstances outside of our control. Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
FedEx Hold at Location Requests
Customers may request to have packages held at an authorized FedEx location. Fees are determined by FedEx and are often free or may begin at approximately $5.55, depending on shipment type and location. If a customer requests a “Hold at FedEx Location” service, BARF World® cannot guarantee product condition, delivery timelines, or package availability. By making this request, the customer assumes all risk associated with delayed pickup, product exposure, thawing, spoilage, or package mishandling. BARF World® is not responsible for replacing or refunding products related to customer-requested hold services.
No Rerouting to Different Addresses
For food safety, fraud prevention, and shipment integrity purposes, BARF World® does not permit package rerouting to alternate delivery addresses once an order has been processed or shipped. Customers are responsible for ensuring all shipping information is accurate before order submission.
Address Corrections
Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate shipping information. If an address correction is required after an order has been submitted, BARF World® may, at its discretion, attempt to update the shipping information prior to shipment; however, this is not guaranteed. Additional carrier fees for address corrections may apply and will be the responsibility of the customer. BARF World® is not responsible for delays, lost shipments, spoilage, or failed deliveries resulting from inaccurate or incomplete shipping information.
Customer Requested Shipping Modifications
Any customer-requested modifications to a shipment—including but not limited to delivery holds, delayed delivery dates, special delivery instructions, vacation holds, address changes, or carrier preferences—are made at the customer’s request and risk. BARF World® cannot guarantee product condition, shipment timing, or carrier compliance with special instructions. Products affected by customer-requested modifications are not eligible for replacement, refund, or credit.
Perishable Product Disclaimer
BARF World® products are perishable and time-sensitive. Customers are responsible for promptly retrieving delivered packages and properly storing products immediately upon delivery. BARF World® is not responsible for spoilage, thawing, temperature changes, or product degradation caused by delayed retrieval, missed deliveries, unattended packages, delivery to incorrect addresses provided by the customer, apartment access issues, or customer scheduling conflicts.
Warm Weather & Seasonal Shipping
BARF World® reserves the right to delay shipments during periods of extreme weather conditions to protect product quality and safety. While we make every reasonable effort to package products appropriately for transit, BARF World® does not guarantee frozen arrival conditions and is not responsible for weather-related transit delays or thawing due to carrier disruptions.
Signature Requirements & Safe Delivery
BARF World® may require or waive signature confirmation at its discretion. Customers are responsible for ensuring a safe and secure delivery location. BARF World® is not responsible for stolen packages or packages left unattended after confirmed delivery by the carrier.
Order Cancellation Requests
Any/all order cancellation requests must be made by 2:00 PM CST the Friday prior to your scheduled shipment. Requests received after the cutoff may be subject to a cancellation fee and are not guaranteed to be processed prior to shipment.
Limitation of Liability
BARF World®’s maximum liability for any claim related to shipment, delivery, delay, spoilage, or product availability shall be limited to the amount paid for the affected product(s), at BARF World®’s sole discretion. BARF World® shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages.
