Lily’s journey towards the formation of BARF World started with the miraculous transformation she experienced with her own dog – a black Labrador retriever named Quinn. Quinn suffered from atopic dermatitis, which stemmed from chronic allergy problems. After leaving her dog at a progressive kennel in Washington for 6 weeks, where they fed her dog only a raw food diet, she was stunned to come back to a beautiful, healthy, allergy-free dog. Knowing that there were others like her that needed to discover the amazing power of raw for their own pets, she searched for others that had knowledge about raw diets. She eventually found and partnered with Dr. Ian Billinghurst and Robert Mueller to create BARF World – the first company to make the Biologically Appropriate Raw Foods (BARF) diet conveniently available to animals everywhere.

Robert Mueller, Bsc Pharm is a registered pharmacist, author of “Living Enzymes: The World’s Best Kept Pet Food Secret”, and co-developer of BARF World’s BARF diets and supplements. Rob has helped zoos worldwide incorporate the proper raw food diets for their carnivorous population of animals. He has consulted hundreds of pet owners on how to improve the health of their pets using the BARF Diet philosophy.
As a child and son of Robert F. Mueller, I grew up in the raw food industry and helped formulate and manufacture diets until I went to college. I then started Pawsitive Pet foods in 1996 based in Eagan, MN. I purchased raw diets from my father’s company as a distributor until I started making my own diets sold only in Minnesota in 2008. We were successful in our local market and it wasn’t until 2017, when my father and I joined together to start Safari Raw, Inc. We chose to purchase BarfWorld Inc., and build a strong successful business together. Currently, with a great team of dedicated employees we are now moving into new and challenging markets. We are always upholding our promise to create the healthiest and most nutritious raw diets for dogs and cats.
Operations Manager
Monica is a mother of 3 kids and a Bernedoodle named Rufio. Though her parents never allowed pets growing up, she has always been an animal lover and is thrilled to be able to provide a loving home for a pet need. Besides working full-time at BARF World, she enjoys cooking and trying new recipes along with spending time with her family and her dog.
Raw Pet Food Specialist
Katie is a Minnesota native and is passionate about all animals, big and small. She is an asset to our team with her creativity and knowledge of social media. She looks forward to getting to know our BARF World customers and expanding her knowledge for feeding your pets a healthy, raw diet…….the BARF diet.
Warehouse and Marketing Manager
Justin grew up right outside of San Francisco California. He is accompanied by his wife; Yvette, and his 2 dogs, Gizmo and Turbo. Justin takes care of all social media and content creation. His hobbies include cars, editing, and esports. His passion for pets started at a young age with his childhood dog, BJ; a big white and gray Husky.
Raw Food Specialist
Isabelle Manley started with the BARF World team in the summer of 2020. She is a Junior at GCU in Phoenix, Arizona. She is our newest Raw Pet Food Specialist. Isabelle assists in product research, marketing ads and ongoing marketing projects. She enjoys music and hanging out with her friends. She has 6 siblings, 2 half siblings, a cat named Poppy, and a dog named Jax, who are Brand Ambassadors for BARF World.
Brand Ambassador
Jax is the newest canine Brand Ambassador for BARF World. He’s a lovable purebred Labrador Retriever with a big family and lots of human siblings. Spring 2020 he came to his fur-ever home as a puppy from a local MN breeder. On the BARF Meat Eater diet, he has grown leaps and bounds with incredible lean muscle mass, a shiny coat and healthy teeth. He loves the water, likes to chew on elk antlers, play fetch, go on walks, and do tricks for our awesome BARF World treats.
