Spring Approaching

The first day of spring is just around the corner! Now that spring is almost here, our pets are eager (as well as us humans) to return to our favorite outdoor activities. For my lab Jax, his favorite outdoor activity is spending the day at the lake. He also loves to play fetch and can spend hours running after his favorite frisbee and catching a tennis ball. We are now able to resume our daily walks and enjoy the warm weather.

Winter Treats

Now that the winter months are here, and most of our time is spent indoors, this is the perfect time to incorporate fun DIY treats for your pet! Here are some of our favorites at the BARF World® office. One of our favorites is a lick mat. This will keep your pet occupied for an extended period of time. Simply add the ingredients to the mat, and include some water to ensure that it sticks. To make it last longer, freeze before serving. Mysterious Dog Illness

As some of you may have heard, there has recently been an illness going around in dogs. Here are some of the facts to keep you informed, and ways to keep your pet healthy to prevent the spread of any illness.  According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, here is what is currently known about this illness. It is primarily occurring in the Portland, OR area, and is an infectious respiratory disease that has already reported 200 cases in this state alone (Larkin, 2023).
